The high performance felt that we use has been engineered to maximise these natural properties of bitumin and the result is a fantastic roofing product which has undergone many years of development in order to provide a highly dependable and cost effective means to cover a flat roof.
The main enemy of a bitumin flat roof is degradation caused by UV radiation from the sun. With this in mind the surface on the High pereformance felt is covered in mineral flakes, usually coloured green or grey, to shield the bitumin from the sun. The roofs can also be covered in stone chippings which offer a longer term solution and can increase the lifespan of your new flat roof.
