Replace Valley

Roof valleys need to be able to cope with a large volume of water, they will often be the first part of an old roof to leak water.

If the cement holding the valley tiles has deteriorated water may run underneath the tiles, If the metal valley trough itself has perished rain will run into your loft.

The best solution is usually to remove to whole valley and then re bed the existing valley tiles back into position replacing any that may be broken during the process.

If the metal trough is still in good order it may not need replacing although, for the differance in price, I would usually recommend that the trough is replaced at the same time
